David Petersen is Co-Founder and Chairman of Assisted Living Magazine, where he applies
nearly two decades of experience building consumer marketplaces to help families navigate
senior care. A serial entrepreneur, he previously co-founded Flexport, BuildZoom,
LocalMovers, and ImportGenius. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer
Science from the University of Maryland and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Jeremy Clerc is Co-Founder and CEO of Assisted Living Magazine, where he applies a
background in growth strategy and technology to the work of making senior care more
accessible to families. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computing and Information Science
with a Business minor from Cornell University, and previously held growth and strategy roles
at Verkada and BAE Systems.
