The center cares for older people to help them achieve the best in life, with three main objectives: fostering an atmosphere of independence and choice, ensuring ongoing staff training and strong management controls, and regularly assessing and evaluating each resident’s circumstances and health to administer unique, individualized, and appropriate care. These objectives are fulfilled by carefully considering the needs and wishes of residents and their relatives, creating a professional atmosphere that combines with a homely living environment to provide a sense of reassurance and ease.

Alexandra Lodge Care Centre employs a dedicated staff, including a Registered Manager, Clinical Lead Manager, Registered Nurses (RGNs), Care Assistants, an Activities Coordinator, Cooks, Housekeepers, and a Handyman. The staff are carefully screened, trained, and qualified, with all Care Assistants holding a minimum of QCF level 2 in Care. The home provides a range of accommodations, including 33 single rooms, 2 shared rooms (couples welcome), and 21 rooms with ensuite WC, with internal access via handrails, lift, and wheelchair access, and external access close to local shops, public transport, and ample off-road private car parking.
