A Covid-19 Focused Infection Control Survey was conducted by the State Agency due to an active COVID-19 outbreak in the facility.
Findings
The facility was found not to be in compliance with New Jersey infection control regulations and CDC recommended practices for COVID-19. Deficiencies included failure to screen residents three times daily during the outbreak phase, and failure to consistently perform hand hygiene and disinfect shared medical equipment before and after resident contact on the Memory Care Unit.
