Visit Reason
The Minnesota Department of Health conducted a full survey to evaluate and assess compliance with state licensing statutes for Elderwood of Hinckley.
Findings
The survey identified multiple deficiencies including staffing plan inadequacies, failure to post required information, lack of quality management program, tuberculosis prevention program deficiencies, emergency preparedness plan deficiencies, fire safety violations, missing designated representative notice in contracts, failure to provide emergency relocation notices, incomplete background studies for employees, delegation of assisted living services without proper documentation, insufficient dementia and mental illness training, incomplete resident assessments, and medication administration issues.
