Inspection Report Summary for Hacienda Senior Living
The California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division completed a pre‑licensing inspection of Hacienda Senior Living on August 5 , 2025. The facility, located at 161 N Hemet Street, is a secured compound with four structures and a stated capacity of 66 residents. During the one‑hour inspection, the Licensing Program Analyst, Armando Perez, met with Administrator Marlya Dunham and observed every operational area required for licensure.
All inspected client rooms met California’s furnishing and safety standards; each bedroom contained clean mattresses, appropriate furniture, and functional emergency lighting, and two model bedrooms met the highest criteria. Bathrooms were sanitary and equipped with grab bars. The kitchen was clean, fully equipped, and maintained an adequate perishable and non‑perishable food supply, with sharp items stored securely and the entrance locked. Medication was centrally stored in locked carts, personnel files were secured, and a dedicated vehicle capable of transporting three clients was ready for use. Fire safety measures were fully compliant: the Hemet Fire Department had issued a clearance, fire extinguishers were present, smoke and carbon‑monoxide detectors were operational and recently tested, and emergency signage and resident rights postings were in place.
The inspection revealed no deficiencies. Personnel and client files were protected, emergency supplies and first‑aid kits were present, and the overall physical plant was clean, well maintained, and hazard‑free. The facility’s administrator held an up‑to‑date certification, and all required posters and plans were posted in accessible locations. Consequently, the Licensing Program Analyst concluded that Hacienda Senior Living satisfied all Title 22 requirements for licensure and that the pre‑licensing inspection was complete without any issues or concerns.
In summary, the inspection confirmed full compliance across all critical domains—residential care, safety, sanitation, and documentation—allowing the facility to proceed toward formal licensure without corrective action. The report reflects a consistent pattern of meticulous preparation and adherence to regulatory standards, indicating a strong foundation for ongoing resident care and safety.
