Moving my mom into assisted living was one of the hardest decisions our family has had to make, but Hampton Manor of Woodhaven made the process so much easier. From day one, the staff was kind, patient, and really took the time to listen to our concerns. The place feels more like a home than a facility. It's clean, welcoming, and has a peaceful atmosphere. My mom is doing great there — she’s more social, eating better, and always tells us how nice everyone is. We’re thankful every day we found this community.What do you like most about living here? Answer: What I appreciate most is the sense of community. The staff genuinely care and treat everyone with respect. It feels safe, clean, and there's always something going on to keep us engaged. It really feels like home. Are there enough caregivers to handle the residents' needs, especially during emergencies? Answer: Yes Are the common areas pleasant and comfortable for socializing or relaxing? Answer: Yes How would you rate the quality and variety of the meals? (1-5) Answer: 5 Are special diets handled well? Answer: No Is the dining schedule flexible enough to meet your preferences? Answer: Yes How do you feel about the level of social interaction available with other residents? Answer: There’s a good mix of activities and chances to connect with others if you want to. I’ve made a few great friends here, and the staff does a nice job encouraging everyone to join in without pushing too hard. It’s a comfortable balance. How was the units offered in this community? Answer: The units are clean, comfortable, and feel more like an apartment than a facility. They offer just the right amount of space, and it’s nice to have some privacy while still being close to everything you need. Do you feel safe living in this community? Answer: Yes How well do you think the community handles emergencies or unexpected events? Answer: They’ve been very responsive in the times we’ve needed help. The staff stays calm, communicates clearly, and makes sure everyone is safe. It gives us peace of mind knowing they’re prepared and professional. Are there any hidden fees or unexpected charges? Answer: Everything was clearly explained up front. So far, no surprises or hidden costs. The pricing is transparent, and they’ve been good about answering any questions we’ve had along the way. Would you recommend this community to others looking for senior living options? Answer: Yes, absolutely. The care, the staff, and the overall environment have been great. It’s a place where residents are treated with kindness and respect. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive and welcoming community. Is there anything you wish you knew before moving in? Answer: I wish we had known how much peace of mind this place would bring. We would’ve made the decision sooner.
