The Bureau of Assisted Living conducted a complaint investigation at Heritage Lake Country following a report that medications were found in a caregiver's possession outside of work duties by Police.

Caregiver B was arrested with a syringe of morphine labeled with Resident 1's name. The facility was contacted on 04/23/2023 but did not investigate. Resident 1 passed away on 04/20/2023. The caregiver was still employed and passing medications at the time of the survey.
