Visit Reason
An announced Fire and Life Safety Code Inspection was conducted by the Office of the State Fire Marshal at Stafford Suites Kent, now known as Hillside Assisted Living, to determine compliance with all applicable codes.
Findings
Several violations were found including improper use of extension cords as permanent wiring, penetrations in fire-resistance-rated construction, failure of emergency lighting to operate on backup power, and obstructions blocking exit access. All violations were corrected on site.
