Visit Reason
The Minnesota Department of Health conducted a survey to evaluate and assess compliance with state licensing statutes for Home Joy Home Care, Inc.
Findings
The licensee was found to be in substantial compliance but had several deficiencies including failure to ensure food was prepared and served according to Minnesota Food Code, incomplete employee records, lack of a comprehensive emergency preparedness plan, incomplete fire safety and evacuation plans and training, incomplete annual staff training, incomplete resident assessments, failure to monitor medication refrigerator temperatures, and failure to post required electronic monitoring notices.
