Visit Reason
The inspection was an Initial survey conducted to assess compliance with state requirements for assisted living facilities for adults, including review of admission agreements and hospice care provisions.
Findings
The facility was found deficient in including a refund upon death policy in admission agreements for 3 of 4 residents reviewed, and failed to ensure direct care staff received required hospice/palliative care training. These deficiencies pose risks related to resident financial rights and quality of hospice care.
