Visit Reason
The Division of Health Service Regulation conducted a Biennial Survey for initial licensing of the facility as a Family Care Home for six ambulatory residents to ensure compliance with the 2005 Rules 10A NCAC 13G for Family Care Homes and the 2018 North Carolina Building Code.
Findings
Multiple deficiencies were cited including announced fire drills instead of surprise drills, storage in the crawlspace, missing grab bars in bathroom and at rear door, non-working lights, improperly latching bathroom door, excessive buildup on bathroom fan, uninspected fire extinguisher, broken hinge on crawl space door, dirty dryer vent, missing flood light bulb, loose wood on ramp landing, and unsafe dropoff next to walkway.
