An initial survey was conducted at Lotus Blossom Hospice in Sandy Springs, GA from 6/28/21 to 6/30/21 to assess compliance with hospice regulations and licensing requirements.
Findings
The facility was found to be in substantial compliance with criminal background checks but had deficiencies related to medication management and nursing services. Specifically, medication profiles were not updated for one patient and pain medication was not available at the time of assessment.
