The purpose of this visit was to investigate intake #GA00234482. An on-site visit was made on 2023-05-18 and the investigation was completed on 2023-05-23.

Complaint Details
Investigation was complaint-related for intake #GA00234482. Resident #1 reported missing medications on two occasions (63 tablets on 4/14/23 and 30 tablets on 4/18/23). Law enforcement was notified but Resident #1 did not wish to press charges. Staff interviews indicated limited awareness of multiple incidents.
Findings
The facility failed to implement its policy to safeguard medications and personal property. Specifically, 93 Lortabs were discovered missing from Resident #1's room, and observations showed multiple residents had unsecured medications contrary to facility policy.
