The inspection was conducted as an annual survey to assess compliance with regulatory standards related to medication storage, food safety, refuse disposal, and nurse aide training.
Findings
The facility was found deficient in multiple areas including failure to remove expired medications and biologicals from medication storage rooms, improper food labeling and storage with expired and moldy foods found in refrigerators and dry storage, inadequate refuse disposal with uncovered grease bin attracting flies, and failure to ensure required in-service training for nurse aides.
