The Adult Care Licensure section conducted an annual and follow-up survey on 02/06/2025 to assess compliance with medication order verification requirements.
Findings

Visit Reason
The Adult Care Licensure Section conducted an annual survey of Springdaile Assisted Living on October 3, 2023.
Findings
The facility was found deficient in medication staff qualifications, medication administration, and accuracy of medication administration records (MAR). Specifically, one medication aide administered medications before passing the required exam within 60 days, one resident did not receive prescribed antipsychotic medication due to lack of order processing and medication availability, and MAR documentation for blood pressure and heart rate monitoring was incomplete and inaccurate.
