Visit Reason
Initial inspection of a new construction assisted living facility with 67 residential units and 74 licensed beds, including a Memory Care Unit and all common areas.
Findings
The facility was found not in substantial compliance with New Jersey Administrative Code standards for assisted living residences. Deficiencies included failure to provide elevator emergency communications for one of two elevators, lack of fire sprinkler coverage in multiple electrical closets, failure to provide small refrigerators in 3 of 67 residential units, and absence of a Class K-Type fire extinguisher in the main kitchen.
