The facility failed to ensure proper oversight by the governing body, resulting in 80 medications not administered to residents on 4/2/2023 due to a staff member leaving without coverage. Additionally, no certified medication aide was scheduled during the critical shift, and multiple residents missed their medications, though no adverse reactions were reported.

The investigation was triggered by complaints regarding missed medications on 4/2/2023, where Staff G left 80 medications not administered and abandoned a double shift. Staff G was terminated and a report was sent to the CNA board of registry. No adverse reactions were reported from missed medications.
