Inspection Report Summary for Tiffany Court
The California Department of Social Services conducted three unannounced one‑year required inspections of Tiffany Court (facility number 075601558) over a two‑year period, each visit led by Licensing Program Analyst Lori Alexander and attended by Executive Director Patti Baird. In February 2023, the evaluator toured the residence, noting adequate lighting in all rooms, stable hallway temperatures, properly equipped bathrooms with grab bars and non‑skid mats, and safe hot‑water temperatures around 118 °F. Centralized medication and hazardous material storage was locked and inaccessible to residents, and a minimum one‑week supply of non‑perishable food and a two‑day supply of perishables were on hand. The inspector verified that the fire clearance was current for 66 non‑ambulatory residents, with an eight‑person hospice waiver and an active administrator’s certificate, and that all staff had up‑to‑date first‑aid training. No deficiencies were cited.
The December 28 2023 inspection echoed the February findings, with the same lighting, temperature, and safety features observed. The evaluator measured hot‑water temperatures at 108.9 °F, confirmed that grab bars and non‑skid mats remained in place, and again found no bodies of water or safety hazards. Fire clearance and hospice waiver status remained unchanged, and the administrator’s certificate was still valid. Staff records were reviewed and all six of the seven staff examined had current first‑aid credentials. As before, no deficiencies were identified, but the evaluator requested updated copies of several administrative and personnel documents to be filed with CCL by January 4 2024.
The most recent visit on December 9 2024 repeated this pattern of thorough compliance. Hot‑water temperatures ranged from 105 °F to 109.5 °F, still within acceptable limits, and lighting, hallway temperatures, and bathroom equipment continued to meet safety standards. The fire clearance for 66 residents remained approved, and the hospice waiver for eight residents persisted. All staff reviewed had current first‑aid training, and the facility’s medication storage remained locked. Once again, no deficiencies were cited; the evaluator requested updated versions of administrative, personnel, and emergency‑disaster‑plan documents, to be submitted by December 16 2024.
Across all three inspections, Tiffany Court consistently met California’s licensing standards for resident safety, environmental conditions, and staff competency. The repeated absence of deficiencies, coupled with ongoing documentation updates, suggests stable, compliant operations and a strong commitment to maintaining the regulatory requirements for this 740‑type group home.
