Yorkshire Village
Yorkshire Village
Yorkshire Village is sprawled out over a 6 acre property surrounded by the San Jacinto mountains, with peace and serentiy in the air. From our experienced caregivers to the residents and their families, everyone’s thoughts and feelings are valued. We combine all these life experiences with the most current programs in healthcare and senior care to help create the safest, happiest lifestyle for every resident.
Familiarity & continuity helps keep our residents happy. Yorkshire residents encounter familiar faces throughout their day. A recognizable face and smile could come from one of our caregivers or another resident at their dining table —a regular dining buddy. That makes living at Yorkshire feel more like home. At Yorkshire, when we see smiling residents, our dedicated teams know they are doing a great job.
Inspection Report Summary for Yorkshire Village
Yorkshire Village, a 740‑type group home in Hemet, has undergone a series of annual licensing inspections and a specific complaint investigation over the past five years. The 2021 and 2022 evaluations, conducted by LPA Stephanie Williams and LPA Janira Arreola respectively, focused on infection‑control measures amid the COVID‑19 pandemic. Inspectors noted that the facility maintained adequate hand‑hygiene supplies, a sufficient 30‑day stock of personal protective equipment, and comprehensive testing, isolation, and monitoring protocols. No health or safety deficiencies were cited in either visit.
In early 2024, an unannounced visit by LPA Jacqueline Shaw Ross addressed additional witness interviews for complaint 18‑AS‑20240105081727. While the visit confirmed that a scheduled staff witness was absent due to a family emergency, no further interviews were conducted and the complaint record remained unaltered. A subsequent annual inspection on May 22, 2024, by LPA Yolanda Delgado was limited by time, allowing only one domain to be reviewed; the brief assessment found no deficiencies and left the full annual inspection pending.
The most recent investigation, dated May 21, 2025, stemmed from a public complaint that Administrator Teresa Mapilis allegedly yelled at a visitor in front of residents. The evaluator, Janette Romero, met with Office Manager Nicole Anguiano and interviewed the administrator and three staff members. None of the staff recalled the incident, and the administrator denied yelling. Because evidence was inconclusive, the allegation was ruled unsubstantiated. No corrective action was ordered.
Across all reports, a consistent pattern emerges: Yorkshire Village demonstrates strong compliance with regulatory standards, particularly in infection control and staff conduct. Annual inspections repeatedly find no deficiencies, and the singular complaint addressed in 2025 was not supported by sufficient evidence. These findings suggest that the facility maintains a safe, well‑regulated environment for its residents.
