INDEPENDENCE HILL ASSISTED LIVING underwent a comprehensive inspection on September 05, 2024, resulting in 17 state standard violations. Of these, 16 were classified as Life Safety Code deficiencies and one was categorized under the Health Code. The Life Safety Code issues included fire safety concerns such as inadequate portable fire extinguishers, non-compliant fire alarm and smoke detection systems, and insufficient sprinkler system inspections. Additionally, the facility faced building maintenance-related issues like subpar exit signs, lighting levels, and heating and cooling systems. Some of these deficiencies dated back to February 14, 2020, with correction dates ranging from March 13, 2020, to May 1, 2020. No Health Code violations were listed during the inspection.
