Inspection Report Summary for Judson Park

Judson Park Retirement Community was inspected on April 24, 2024, where it was determined that the facility failed to recognize sudden changes in a resident's condition following a medication error, which involved an incorrect increase in dosage leading to overt sedation and a decline in health. This violation was cited under WAC 388-78A-2210 (1)(b). Prior to this, on September 28, 2023, a fire inspection confirmed that all violations noted during previous inspections had been corrected. A follow-up fire inspection on September 30, 2024, also verified that all prior deficiencies had been addressed. Additionally, a fire inspection on July 8, 2024, identified multiple violations related to fire safety, including issues with fire door operations, documentation for fire safety systems, and obstructions to fire extinguishers, which were noted as disapproved.
