The inspection was an unannounced required one-year annual visit conducted by Licensing Program Analyst Jason Lund to evaluate compliance with licensing requirements.

The medication cabinet, first aid kit, resident bedrooms, common areas, exterior grounds, swimming pool, fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide detectors, and staff and resident files were all inspected and found to meet requirements.

The facility was inspected thoroughly including resident areas, medication storage, safety equipment, and staff and resident files. No deficiencies were cited and the facility was found to be in compliance with all applicable requirements at the time of inspection.

The visit was an unannounced prelicensing inspection conducted to evaluate the facility for initial licensing to serve up to six nonambulatory residents.

The facility was found to be in compliance at the time of inspection, with all areas including resident rooms, dining, living areas, medication storage, and safety equipment meeting regulatory requirements.

The visit was conducted as an initial licensing evaluation for the Valley Royale Home Care Facility to assess the applicant/administrator's understanding of community care facility licensing laws and readiness for operation.

The applicant/administrator successfully completed Component II, demonstrating understanding of licensing laws, facility operation, admission policies, staffing, health conditions, general provisions, emergency preparedness, complaints and reporting, and pre-licensing readiness.
