Overview of Bethesda Gardens Memory Care Community

Bethesda Gardens Memory Care Community is a senior living community in Fort Worth, Texas, offering assisted living and memory care. The mid-sized community has a 62-bed capacity, allowing residents to receive individualized attention while still benefiting from social interaction, structured programming, and shared amenities. Operated by the Bethesda Foundation under the legal entity BSLC II, the community has an Alzheimer’s certification and is specifically designed to support older adults living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other memory-related conditions.

The community is guided by a faith-based philosophy that emphasizes emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness. Religious services, volunteer involvement, and a thoughtfully planned activities calendar are also available, contributing to a supportive and purpose-driven environment. The “Bloom by Bethesda” program is also a key feature, which focuses on meaningful daily engagement and enrichment for residents experiencing cognitive decline.

A 24-hour staffing and Alzheimer’s-certified care are provided, along with safety-focused features that are especially important in memory care settings. These include a secured perimeter, wheelchair accessibility, and in-room emergency communication systems. Short-term respite care is also available for families needing temporary support or transitional care arrangements. Restaurant-style dining is also provided, with outdoor barbecue areas, gardens, and regular social programming.

A total of three Life Safety Code citations were identified throughout its operational years. These are mostly related to fire safety procedures, including emergency generator compliance and fire drill documentation, which were corrected within several months. The community has no enforcement actions on record, which compares favorably to the Texas average. Its citation total also remains below the statewide average of six citations per community, reflecting a generally positive compliance history.

Combining faith-centered programming, personalized support, and favorable regulatory history, Bethesda Gardens Memory Care Community is well-suited for older adults with moderate to advanced memory care needs who would benefit from a secure, structured, and spiritually supportive environment, particularly families seeking Alzheimer’s and dementia care in Fort Worth.
