Bronx Independent Living Services (BILS) is a non-profit organization deeply rooted in Bronx County for over four decades.  Their core services encompass Information and Referral, Peer Counseling, Individual and Systems’ Advocacy, Independent Living Skills Training, and Transition Services. Their unwavering mission centers on empowering individuals with disabilities, ensuring they grasp and exercise their civil and human rights. 

BILS envisions a society where people with disabilities can seamlessly integrate into mainstream life. With a track record of supporting approximately 2,000 individuals, BILS has made significant strides in benefits and housing. As an Independent Living Center, BILS amplifies the voices of people with disabilities, advocating for their rights across local communities in New York State.
