Don't be fooled by their advertised "MANAGEMENT," amenities, and move-in perks. "MANAGEMENT" at Bell Tower Reserve is almost (99%) non-existent. If and when THE manager shows up, it's at a resident dinner of some sort—but only long enough to fill her plate as first in line, then exit the area, never stopping to chat with anyone, lest she have to listen to the many complaints residents have that are not being handled. Current problems, such as the FOBs needed to access the complex—especially living quarter hallways—have been "broken" for over a week now. Some residents were locked out in the cold and dark and couldn't get back to their apartment until another resident inside happened to hear their calls for help. Notice of this incident happening to multiple residents was published via email, with residents having this problem told to come by the main office at 4:00 PM that Sunday. From 4–5, someone would be at the main office to "fix" the FOB problem. Ours worked fine until 5:30 AM this last Sunday morning. Why the problem with ALL the FOBs was not fixed at one time—versus by individual FOB—is another Great Wonder of the World. It has more to do with lack of care or compassion for the "Over 55 Residents" than anything else by MANAGEMENT. Simple amenities, such as clean hallways—ones without dog pee stains on the carpet—go unattended to by the so-called MANAGEMENT. Not that they aren't walking these same hallways when trying to rent an apartment...? Seems like there are more moving companies parking out back loading residents up to go live elsewhere than there are "new" residents unloading to move in. Hmmm? Move-in incentives are nothing more than bait-and-switch, as our lawyer wrote them. They say one thing, then change it 'cause of their "Policy," which they cannot provide a written copy of when asked. Rent increases are arbitrary, not uniform. Residents are very friendly, courteous, and helpful—much more so than the owners or MANAGEMENT.

My mother was a resident here for three years. When she passed away, management was notified, yet no one contacted our family to explain the procedure for terminating her lease. I eventually had to ask the front desk, where I was finally told what steps were required. We followed those instructions and completed everything by the end of the month. Despite this, we were still charged for the following month’s rent. This is where my one-star review comes in. I called, emailed, and followed up repeatedly, but could not reach the property manager. I left numerous messages and had to visit the property twice before finally speaking with her in person. At that time, I was told a refund was “in the works.” That conversation was three months ago, and I have yet to receive anything. Since then, I have continued to email, text, and call with no resolution. It now appears I will have to make another in-person visit. Dealing with the loss of a parent is difficult enough. The lack of professionalism, communication, and follow-through from the management at Bell Tower Reserve only added to an already painful experience. If you plan to live here, be sure to immediately close any accounts tied to the property, or be prepared for significant frustration when trying to resolve issues.
