Visit Reason
A fire life safety and sanitation licensure survey was conducted to assess compliance with applicable safety standards.
Findings
Three deficiencies were identified related to emergency generator maintenance, medical gas storage ventilation, and fire drill procedures.
Deficiencies (3)
.155.03 Emergency generators: no documentation for inspections and testing of the diesel-fired EPSS generator system including weekly inspections, monthly load testing, load bank tests, and annual fuel test; all generator sets must be maintained per NFPA 110, Chapter 8.
.405.03 Medical gases: 312 cubic feet of oxygen stored in a linen/storage closet without ventilation and near combustible materials; oxygen storage must comply with NFPA 99, Chapter 11, Section 11.6 (corrected on site 5/13/22).
.410 Requirements for emergency actions and fire drills: fire drills did not demonstrate evacuation to the designated assembly point outlined in the emergency action plan at the center basketball court.
