On-site compliance (annual) inspection of an Assisted Living Center conducted on July 20, 2023.
Findings
Four deficiencies were found related to medication storage, hot water temperature, and opioid administration policies. The facility failed to ensure safe medication storage, maintain proper hot water temperatures, and document opioid administration policies.

A manager failed to ensure the service plan included how medications stored in a resident's unit were stored and controlled, posing a health and safety risk due to unlocked medications and lack of documentation.
A manager failed to ensure medications stored by the facility were kept in a separate locked area used only for medication storage, posing a health and safety risk as medications were accessible in an unlocked resident unit.
A manager failed to ensure hot water temperatures were maintained between 95º F and 120º F, with observed temperatures above 120º F in multiple residential units.
