The inspection was conducted as a Renewal Licensing Study to evaluate compliance with licensing rules and regulations for Quincy Place Senior Living.
Findings
The facility was found to be in non-compliance with multiple rules including employee tuberculosis screening timing, medication administration procedures, laundry and linen storage, kitchen utensil sanitization, and hazardous materials storage. Violations were established in all these areas.

Four employee tuberculosis screenings were completed outside the required 10 days of hire.
Medications for Resident A were crushed and placed in pudding without a physician order in the medication administration record.
Clean and soiled linens were mixed together in the memory care unit laundry room and clean linens were found on the floor.
Dishwasher sanitization records had missing or blank entries for multiple dates, preventing verification of cleanliness.
Hazardous and toxic chemicals were stored unsecured and accessible in multiple cabinets, posing risk to residents.

The facility was found to be in non-compliance with kitchen and dietary rules, specifically regarding unlabeled food items without open dates and incomplete refrigeration temperature logs, which could not ensure food safety.

Findings
The facility was found to be in substantial compliance with Public Health Code Act 368 of 1978 and administrative rules. The building and program meet requirements for a home for the aged with programs for aged and Alzheimer’s disease or related condition care, and a temporary license with a capacity of 102 beds was recommended.
