Visit Reason
The Office of the State Fire Marshal conducted a scheduled fire safety inspection at Sullivan Park Senior Living to assess compliance with fire protection and life safety codes.

Findings
All cited deficiencies were corrected or completed at the time of inspection, resulting in an overall approved status. The facility met requirements for electrical hazard abatement, power tap removal, fire door maintenance, sprinkler system testing, fire extinguisher maintenance, carbon monoxide detection, and fire drills.

Deficiencies (9)
IFC 603.2 (2021) - Abatement of unsafe electrical hazards is required. Conditions that constitute an electrical shock or fire hazard shall be abated.
IFC 603.5 (2021) - Relocatable power taps and current taps must be constructed and used in accordance with NFPA 70 and this code.
IFC 701.6 (2021) - The owner must maintain an inventory of all required fire-resistance-rated construction and inspect it annually.
IFC 705.2 (2021) - Opening protectives in fire-resistance-rated assemblies must be inspected and maintained per NFPA 80 and NFPA 105.
IFC 903.5 (2021) - Sprinkler systems must be tested and maintained in accordance with Section 901.
IFC 906.2 (2021) - Portable fire extinguishers must be selected, installed, and maintained per NFPA 10.
IFC 915.1.1 (2021) WAC 51-54A - Carbon monoxide detection must be provided in specified occupancies and locations.
IFC 915.6 (2021) WAC - Carbon monoxide alarms and detection systems must be maintained and replaced if inoperable or end-of-life.
Fire Drills - At least twelve planned and unannounced fire drills must be held annually with records maintained and available for inspection.
