IFC 907.8 (2018) Inspection, Testing and Maintenance. The annual inspection of the alarm system on 11/11/22 had discrepancies that were not corrected.
IFC 907.8.3 (2012, 2015, 2018) Smoke Detector Sensitivity. The facility was unable to provide an updated nuisance log extending sensitivity testing to 5 years.

The fire was caused by a resident accidentally turning on the stove, resulting in a small fire that was extinguished by staff before the fire department responded. No injuries or damage beyond a melted plastic container were reported, and no IFC violations were observed.
