Visit Reason
The inspection was conducted to assess compliance with oxygen storage requirements and ice storage sanitation standards at Ashbrook Assisted Living by Americare.
Findings
The facility failed to properly store oxygen tanks according to NFPA 99 standards and lacked proper signage. Additionally, the ice machine drain pipe lacked an air gap, risking contamination.

A2298 Oxygen storage was not properly secured and lacked required signage, violating NFPA 99, 1999 Edition. Portable oxygen tanks were unsecured and no 'No Smoking' sign was posted on the storage room door.
A7042 The ice machine drain pipe lacked an air gap, risking contamination from backflow. Observations included a white drain pipe with black substance inside and two clear drain pipes touching the white drain pipe.
