Visit Reason
The inspection was an unannounced routine compliance check of Country View Assisted Living facility to ensure adherence to state regulations and licensing requirements.
Findings
The inspection found 11 rule noncompliances related to various regulatory requirements including employee training, resident rights, medication administration, emergency preparedness, and facility maintenance. Technical assistance was provided for several areas.

R432-270-4(2) The licensee failed to ensure the facility is licensed as a type I facility for residents capable of exiting without assistance.
R432-270-6(2) The administrator of a type I facility did not have the required associate degree or two years experience in a health care facility.
R432-270-14(2) The type I assisted living licensee did not hire or contract with a registered nurse to provide or delegate medication administration for residents who cannot self-medicate.
R432-270-14(4) The type I assisted living licensee providing nursing services did not comply with required nursing service standards.
R432-270-15(1) The licensee did not admit residents with Alzheimer's or dementia who can exit with limited assistance from one person as required for secure units.
R432-270-16(1) The licensee failed to ensure arrangements for medical or dental care including dentist, home health, hospice, pharmacist, physician, podiatrist, therapist, and other providers.
