Overview of Glacier Hills

Ann Arbor, Michigan, is the home base for Glacier Hills, a 62-bed certified care facility built primarily for short-term recovery and medical rehabilitation. The financial department processes resident accounts using typical billing methods, accepting private pay alongside Medicare insurance. The surrounding geographic territory carries a Walk Score of 46, meaning the immediate neighborhood offers a quieter environment where a few minor tasks can be completed on foot, though most transit requires a car.

Floor operations across the 62 certified beds focus primarily on short-term post-hospital therapy tracks, keeping the average resident stay to approximately 22 days. The on-site crew manages fundamental household logistics, including regular room cleaning, building maintenance, and daily meal preparation, to ensure an orderly healthcare environment. These domestic routines run concurrently with clinical health tracking and physical rehabilitation schedules to support individuals through their recovery timelines.

Private and semi-private sleeping quarters connect directly to central common lounges and dedicated spaces designed for family visits. Internal schedules combine these personal assistance tasks with basic administrative oversight to maintain a consistent routine throughout the week. Because internal capacities and therapy programs can adjust over time, the administrative staff routes detailed operational questions directly through the main office.

Prospective residents can arrange an interview to inspect the rehabilitation layouts, verify the average 22-day transition schedules, and evaluate the local driving setups.

Glacier Hills Reviews

Mike Allen
Glacier Hills is all about the money. They could care less about peoples health from my point of view. My opinion is they have knowingly exposed workers and residents to harmful asbestos on many occasions. From my point of view they knew it was there and dangerous but choose to not disclose it to the workers or the seniors living there and allowed it to be removed causing exposure to workers and residents with no safeguards. They were investigated by the state and had 4 serious violations for this and and settled it. They continued to risk exposure after this investigation from my point of view. You can go to OSHA and look it up under inspection #1711873.015. Report # 0552651. Citation ID #'s 01001A, 01001B, 01001C, 01001D.What do you like most about living here?
