The GOLDEN AGE HOME PERSONAL CARE facility underwent a comprehensive inspection on August 22, 2024, resulting in 7 state standard violations. Of these, 6 were classified as Health Code deficiencies and 1 was categorized under Life Safety Code. The Health Code issues included failures to complete required continuing education for the manager, assess or develop service plans for residents, administer medications according to physician's orders, supervise medication regimens, and address controlled drug diversion policies. These violations were largely corrected between August 23 and September 18, 2024. In contrast, the single Life Safety Code deficiency related to smoking regulations in resident bedrooms was identified during a previous inspection on January 3, 2020, and corrected by January 13, 2020. No enforcement actions were found associated with these inspections.
