Visit Reason
The inspection was conducted to evaluate compliance with resident rights, respiratory care, food safety, staffing data accuracy, and infection control practices at Hartford Health Care nursing home.
Findings
The facility failed to offer residents the opportunity to eat meals in the dining room except lunch Monday through Friday, administered oxygen without a physician order for one resident, failed to label and date food properly, submitted inaccurate staffing data for one quarter, and did not ensure proper use of personal protective equipment for airborne isolation precautions.
