A survey of Laughlin Healthcare Center was completed on October 5, 2023, resulting in deficiencies being cited related to failure to properly prepare and update the plan of care for one resident.
Findings
The facility failed to revise the plan of care for Resident #14 after documented falls and interventions, and was unable to provide documentation of implemented interventions due to the care plan not being formally updated. The facility has since modified procedures to ensure plans of care will be revised after any future falls.
