Overview of Petersburg Home for Ladies

For more than three generations, Petersburg Home for Ladies has been the preferred residential and assisted living facility for women 65 and up living in Petersburg, Hopewell, and Colonial Heights as well as the surrounding counties of Dinwiddie, Prince George, Chesterfield, and beyond.
With the lowest ratio of residents to staff in central Virginia, we offer elegant living with exceptional care that is unparalleled in our region. A licensed nurse is available 24 hours a day to serve residents who may need assistance or who experience an emergency and our certified nursing aides are eager to provide an extra measure of pampering that each of our ladies deserves!
In Magnolia Hall, our specialized memory care unit, our caregiving measures are further enhanced by a ratio of no less than one licensed caregiving staff to four ladies.
For more than 99 years Petersburg Home for Ladies has remained committed to its unchanging purpose to satisfy the human need for security, companionship, care and love, and be an agent of blessing to all whom it touches.
