Showboat Retirement Center, a family-owned and operated assisted living community in Lander, Wyoming, has been providing affordable quality care to seniors since 1993. Established by Ronald and Arvey Foote, inspired by the desire to care for Arvey’s parents and uncle, the center aims to aid residents in maintaining their independence in a safe, comfortable, and compassionate environment. Showboat is located in a beautiful neighborhood with views of mountains, less than a mile away from Main Street, and is next door to the Lander Medical Clinic and down the street from the Lander SageWest Hospital. Showboat Retirement Center offers a range of activities, including crafts, parties, live music, bible studies, and more. The facility assists residents in activities of daily living such as showering, housekeeping, medications, scheduling and reminders for doctors’ appointments, and provides three meals a day plus snacks. Despite its growth over the years, Showboat Retirement Center remains committed to its mission of providing affordable quality care to the community.
