The Bridges at Mission is an assisted living community in Mission, Texas, offering memory support, adult day programs, and respite stays. This licensed Type B community has a 61-bed capacity and is operated by Assisted Living Partnership II Ltd. in Hidalgo County. It has also received the recognition of top choice for assisted living in the Rio Grande Valley, a local accolade that highlights its reputation among South Texas families. Monthly rates range from $4,000 and $4,700, offering a helpful starting point for financial planning.
In terms of regulatory standing, the most recent review in March 2024 concluded with four total findings, consisting of two health-related and two life safety matters. The health-related issues involved hiring protocols, specifically a delay in verifying employee misconduct databases and performing complete criminal background checks before employment. However, both concerns were resolved the day after the evaluation, reflecting an impressively fast response. The life safety deficiencies originated from a 2019 visit and involved lighting and accessibility standards, which were addressed within a few days at that time. Additionally, the community has no history of enforcement actions, and with four citations compared to the Texas state average of six, its overall compliance history is considerably clean.
With an Alzheimer’s certification, round-the-clock, specially trained staff, and an on-call licensed vocational nurse, this community appeals to families seeking medical reliability in memory support. A private bathroom is also available, which is a significant comfort feature in the current market. Physical therapy is accessible through home health collaborations, while recovery and short-term stay options complete the clinical services. Three family-style meals are provided daily with support for specialized diets, while a dedicated full-time director organizes live performances and group activities. However, Medicaid and Medicare are not accepted, so residents must utilize private funding.
The Bridges at Mission is an appealing option for older adults and their families in the Mission and Rio Grande Valley region who are dealing with Alzheimer’s or memory-related challenges. The combination of expert staff, private rooms, and organized events makes it an excellent match for residents who thrive with a steady and active daily schedule.

THE BRIDGES AT MISSION underwent a comprehensive inspection on March 21, 2024, resulting in four state standard violations. The Health Code deficiencies cited included failure to search employee misconduct and nurse aide registries before hiring, as well as inadequate criminal history checks of employees and applicants. These issues were corrected by March 22, 2024. In contrast, no Life Safety Code deficiencies were detected during this inspection. However, a review of past inspections revealed two Life Safety Code violations from May 29, 2019, which were related to accessibility standards and lighting levels. These issues were addressed between June 4-6, 2019. No enforcement actions were found in relation to these incidents.
