Alexandra Court, a family-run care home in Leeds, has been providing a unique and friendly environment for comfortable living and high standards of care since November 1992. The staff at Alexandra Court are trained to be sympathetic to the emotions residents and their families may experience when transitioning to a new home, helping them overcome any fears or anxieties and making the process a positive one.The home consists of 24 rooms, 13 of which are en-suite, all furnished to a high standard. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture, keepsakes, and mementoes. The building features a fully functioning hydraulic lift for residents on the second floor, eliminating the inconvenience of steps and stairways.

Alexandra Court offers a comfortable lounge area with a 42-inch flat screen television, DVD player, and music system. The home also has a paved patio and flagged walking areas where residents can enjoy the summer sun surrounded by plants and flowers.The home’s activities coordinator, Sahara, plans daily activities based on residents’ preferences. Alexandra Court also provides trips to shopping centers, a walking club, aromatherapy massage, beautician visits, attendance at the local day center, trips to local cafes, and various games and entertainment. Food is a priority at Alexandra Court, with the menu for each day displayed in the dining room. The home endeavors to find out each individual’s food preferences and ensures that any specific dietary needs are met.
