Harvest Home & Inwood Crossing Senior Living underwent a comprehensive inspection on February 22, 2022, resulting in four state standard violations. The facility was cited for two Health Code deficiencies, but none were listed under this category during the most recent inspection. However, there were two Life Safety Code deficiencies: one related to fire safety and another concerning building maintenance. Specifically, the facility failed to ensure compliance with licensing standards for assisted living facilities regarding fire alarm and smoke detection systems (corrected by December 6, 2019) and sprinkler system inspections (corrected by December 19, 2019). Additionally, a commercial range hood and exhaust system was not maintained in compliance with NFPA 96 (corrected by December 6, 2019).
Regarding enforcement actions, the facility received an administrative penalty on January 25, 2024, totaling $3,750.00 for failing to ensure that night staff was immediately available and awake, as per Texas Administrative Code Section 553.253(c)(4)(B).
