Bright Hope Adult Family Home

Daniel Yimer
As the owner and manager of Bright Hope AFH for the past 6 years, my goal every single day is to make sure our residents feel like they are truly living in their own home.I know that when families first look into an adult family home, they often have the preconception that their loved one will just be "living in someone else’s house" or that it will feel too institutional. We love completely shattering that idea. Once families get to know us and see our programs, they see how happy, engaged, and thriving our residents really are.We love celebrating our residents. Since the majority of our clients right now are women, we recently threw a surprise Mother's Day barbecue party out on the patio. We invited all of their family members to surprise them, and it was an absolutely incredible, happy day for everyone.Seeing our residents happy, smiling, and participating in our activities is what makes this work rewarding for me every single day.
