BEWARE
This review is specific to the home in Chapel Hill but they are all run by the same person.The absolute negligence and incompetence of Brian Quenniville, the owner / manager of this home, are astounding. My mom lived in this home for a very brief period. The 3rd night there, a staff member literally pried her cherished diamond wedding set from her finger and stole it. A few weeks later, after I'd installed a camera, another staff member was recorded ABUSING Mom. Finally, about her 3rd month there, I came to visit as usual and found her in the bed covered in bruises and crying in immense pain. I asked the staff what had happened and was told she'd fallen out of her wheelchair a day prior, and that she had laid on the floor, yelling out for help, for 40 mins with the heavy custom made chair on top of her. The staff was outside. NO ONE notified me- her daughter and HCPOA,, or her husband. The staff notified Brian. He did nothing. NO ONE sought medical care for her. When I found her, i had her taken by EMS to the hospital, where she ultimately DIED from internal bleeding due to her injuries in the home.You can find a full report of this from DSS. The home was cited for multiple errors of negligence and for causing her death.What do you like most about living here?
Answer: My mom had jewelry stolen here, was abused here, and ultimately DIED as a result of astounding negligence.
