Countryside Manor of Bristol was a nursing home, assisted living, home care, and hospice care provider in Bristol, Connecticut. It discontinued all services effective March 28, 2025. While it operated, nursing home care provided licensed nursing care on site around the clock, while assisted living supported daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
Home care brought support to a person’s residence, and hospice care focused on end of life support. The community had 90 beds and private rooms, so each resident had an individual room rather than sharing with another resident. Payment options included Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay: Medicare may cover short term skilled care after a hospital stay, Medicaid may help with longer term costs for eligible residents, and private pay uses personal funds. Pets were allowed under the community’s stated policy, giving residents the option to keep a pet while the community operated.
