Sioux Falls’s Oak View neighborhood is home to Meadows on Sycamore, a 45-bed community that combines assisted living with memory care and nursing care under one address at 130 N Sycamore Ave. It’s only been open a year, which is worth knowing going in. Weekly bingo and off-campus outings round out the calendar, so residents aren’t only choosing between staying in their room or sitting in a common area.
Smoke-free buildings, no pets allowed, and three levels of care rolled into a single community: that’s a specific combination, one built less around lifestyle amenities and more around a resident’s care needs changing without requiring a move somewhere new.
