The community operates as a secure, single-story residential facility specializing in high-acuity memory support. While state-licensed assisted living communities do not hold federal CMS star ratings, current 2026 filings show that the facility maintains a citations-per-inspection rate of zero based on its most recent standard health and safety surveys. Nursing and certified care staff are available 24/7 to assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility. The clinical team coordinates specialized diabetic care, such as insulin management and blood glucose monitoring, as well as on-site podiatry services. Daily life follows a “Daily Path” of engagement, which includes morning mental workouts, clustered group discussions, and walking groups designed to preserve cognitive function and reduce behavioral distress. Personalized care plans are routinely adjusted based on individual disease progression to ensure comfort and safety.
Residents live in private suites with full private bathrooms and ample natural light, which families are encouraged to personalize with family photos and familiar furnishings. All-inclusive monthly fees cover three chef-prepared, restaurant-style meals daily, featuring a menu designed specifically for seniors with dementia, including “finger foods” to promote independence.
The campus features several secure indoor and outdoor shared spaces:An arts and crafts studio, a greenhouse for gardening, and a full-service beauty and barber shop provide diverse engagement options. Secure outdoor walking paths and landscaped courtyards allow for safe movement, while keypad entry systems and emergency response alarms in each room ensure a high level of security. Scheduled transportation is also provided for local medical appointments and community outings within the Overland Park area.
Prospective residents seeking a structured, secure environment with specialized expertise in Alzheimer’s and dementia care may find this community appropriate. Interested individuals should contact the administrator directly to discuss current caregiver-to-resident ratios and schedule a tour to assess the 2026 quality performance and memory care neighborhoods firsthand.

Frequently Asked Questions about Nursing Homes in Overland Park, KS
What's the difference between assisted living and a nursing home in Kansas?

Nursing homes (skilled nursing facilities) provide 24/7 medical care from licensed nurses for residents with significant health needs, and are regulated more strictly under both state and federal CMS rules.
Does Kansas Medicaid cover nursing home care?
Yes — Kansas Medicaid covers nursing home care for residents who meet income, asset, and medical-need eligibility requirements. Most CMS-certified nursing homes accept Medicaid as a primary payer once long-term-care eligibility is established.
What is nursing home care?
Nursing homes (also called skilled nursing facilities) provide 24/7 medical care from licensed nurses, rehabilitation services, and long-term custodial care for residents with significant health or functional needs.
How many nursing homes are listed on this page?
This page features 14 nursing homes in Overland Park, KS. Use the filters and comparison tools above to compare ratings, amenities, and pricing.
How do I choose the right nursing home in Overland Park, KS?
Start by matching the level of care offered to the resident's current and anticipated needs, then compare licensing status, staff-to-resident ratios, recent inspection results, and pricing. Tour at least two or three communities in Overland Park, KS, talk to current residents and families, and confirm what is included in the base rate versus billed as add-on services.
What should I look for when visiting nursing homes in Overland Park, KS?
Pay attention to staff interactions with residents, cleanliness and odor, food quality at meal times, the activity calendar, and how questions about pricing and care plans are answered. Ask to see the most recent state inspection report, the move-out / level-of-care-change policy, and a sample monthly bill that lists every fee.
