The inspection was conducted as a recertification visit to determine compliance with certification rules for an Assisted Living Program.
Findings
The program failed to ensure documentation of nurse delegation within 30 days of employment for some staff and failed to follow medication administration procedures as delegated by the RN. Additionally, the program did not store single-serve milk and juice as required by food service regulations and lacked licensure for the kitchen used for food delivery.
