Oasis at Mesa Palms

Mesa’s N. Center Revitilization Association neighborhood is home to Oasis at Mesa Palms, an independent living community at 1418 N Country Club Dr. The three-story building isn’t in a walkable pocket of town. This isn’t a care facility in the clinical sense; residents live on their own in private one- and two-bedroom suites, somewhere between 685 and 978 square feet depending on the layout. There’s no medical or personal care assistance built into the model here. What you get instead is independence, paired with the conveniences that make independence easier: an in-unit washer and dryer, utilities folded into your costs, and internet access without having to set anything up yourself.

The shared spaces do a lot of the social lifting; a restaurant-style dining room runs on flexible plans, so meals aren’t a rigid obligation. There’s a fitness center for people who want to stay active, plus a library, a computer room, and space for arts and crafts. A swimming pool and jacuzzi round out the more resort-like end of things, and a community center gives residents somewhere to gather beyond their own four walls.

An activities director keeps a regular calendar running, which matters more than it sounds like it should when you’re trying to build a routine somewhere new. Pets are welcome too, which isn’t a small detail for anyone who wasn’t planning to leave a dog or cat behind.

Monthly costs run $1,525 to $1,575 for a one-bedroom and $1,689 to $1,999 for a two-bedroom. That’s independent living pricing: you’re paying for space, amenities, and dining, not caregiving staff. Taken together, this is a fit for someone who’s still largely self-sufficient and wants a lower-maintenance version of home, with the social infrastructure of a community built in around them.
