I was a resident here private pay for several months. I am a assisted living resident.. The lies that I was told before I moved in are horrendous. Please look closely. It is one caregiver for eight residents, many of which are very very needy. Meals are very repetitive and the ingredients are of poor quality (Walmart). And the term all-inclusive means absolutely nothing. I pay for everything out of my pocket, facial tissue hygiene supplies, any beverage beside water and before they put the shine on before tour. The sanitation is deplorable. It is not the caregivers. It is management ownership. What do you like most about living here? Answer: Knowing a couple caregiver Are there enough caregivers to handle the residents' needs, especially during emergencies? Answer: No Are the common areas pleasant and comfortable for socializing or relaxing? Answer: Yes How would you rate the quality and variety of the meals? (1-5) Answer: 1 Are special diets handled well? Answer: No Is the dining schedule flexible enough to meet your preferences? Answer: Yes How do you feel about the level of social interaction available with other residents? Answer: You can certainly interact with other residents when they're out of bed or engaged or their dementia enables them to. People come here to die, not live How was the units offered in this community? Answer: Take a close look. Be carpet in my room was heavenly soiled. At least 12 years old and I had to replace the bed.. Do you feel safe living in this community? Answer: No How well do you think the community handles emergencies or unexpected events? Answer: The will meaning intent is there. The execution is not.. Are there any hidden fees or unexpected charges? Answer: Anything other than bathroom tissue the resident or their loved one must provide. There is no Healthcare for Houston transportation. There is no meaning behind all-inclusive. I pay for medication. I pay for all Healthcare including transportation to that Healthcare. Anything other than having a bed I'd pay for directly Would you recommend this community to others looking for senior living options? Answer: Never Is there anything you wish you knew before moving in? Answer: I wish I had not been repeatedly misled to put it politely. There are no social activities other than bingo a couple times a week. If a caregiver has time and then they're usually so disrupted it doesn't much matter. I wish I'd have been told that all-inclusive doesn't mean anything. I wish I'd have been told that when I was encouraged to buy personal belongings that they would be taking from me and placed in the garage. I wish that I have been told that what you see is not what you're going to get. I wish I'd have been shown but a typical day is actually like. I wish I'd have been told that there will be frequent medication errors that can be life-threatening.
