Of these, 8 were classified as Life Safety Code deficiencies and 1 was not specified under the Health Code section. The Life Safety Code issues included multiple instances of non-compliance with NFPA 101, such as inadequate fire alarm and smoke detection systems, operable windows or powered exhaust in odor-producing rooms, and proper installation of portable extinguishers. Additionally, the facility failed to ensure an emergency generator was compliant with licensing standards and that exit doors had locking devices meeting Life Safety Code requirements.
